Healthy and Tasty Oatmeal Breakfast Ideas

Oats is one of the healthiest grains. It can be used to prepare the bread, flavor essence in soups, preparing cakes and more. High energy value and the few calories is make it one of the most commonly used supplements in our meal. Using oatmeal for breakfast allows us to provide the necessary energy for performing everyday activities.

Lenten breakfast of oats

3-4 teaspoons of oat bran

1 tablespoon of oat flakes

1 tsp ground flax

1 tsp chia

1 tsp honey

half teaspoon cinnamon

all this mix in soya milk and wait 15 minutes.

For fans of the flavor of menthol

– 40 g oat flakes

– 250 ml. milk / water (I use half – half)

– A little salt

– Half good mashed banana

– 2-3 teaspoons cocoa

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 k.l extract mint

– A few cubes of dark chocolate

Pour the water / milk with a pinch of salt to boil

Then decreases over medium heat, add oat and banana.

Once you have soaked up some of the liquid, add cocoa, mint extract and vanilla and boil until you have the desired density.

Serve with pieces of chopped chocolate.

Oatmeal with coconut and almonds


– 40 g of oat flakes

– 250 ml of water / milk (I use half – half)

– Pinch salt

– 2 tablespoons grated coconut

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– A few almonds

– A little dark chocolate

Pour the water / milk with a pinch of salt to boil, after which add oat flakes, vanilla and boil on medium heat until you achieve the desired density (which depends on the type of oats from 1-5 min for regular oat flakes)

Then transferred to a plate, add a bit more milk (optional) and pour on top with coconut, chopped almonds and chopped / grated chocolate.

Adds sweetener of choice (stevia, maple syrup, honey, etc.).
